中職義大犀牛今天拋出震撼彈，在召開臨時董事會之發表聲明，表示希望轉賣球隊，盼有熱愛棒球、想進軍職棒的企業團體，能接洽球隊經營轉手事宜，義大領隊王葵琳也證實這項消息。
義大總部今天下午以「對不起、對不起、再對不起」為題發表聲明指出，義大犀牛隊在今年上半球季進入六月份的球賽中，最近十一場比賽遭逢十場敗場，為此，義大球團深自檢討，球隊的整體績效與期望落差太大，認為愧對廣大球迷與贊助廠商熱烈支持，深感對不起。
聲明中說，義大犀牛隊自二○一二年底成軍以來，即動員投入大量人力、物力及資源，全力經營球隊各項發展，三年六個月以來，廣受社會各界喜愛棒球的觀眾及社會大眾的關心與支持，「在此表示十二萬分的感謝。」
經過今年上半季五十五場比賽後，義大職棒球團今天上午召開臨時董事會，作出重大經營決定，希望有熱愛棒球、想進軍職棒的企業團體，「能與我們接洽球隊經營轉手事宜。」
